Our stay at Briars was a peaceful getaway. The receptionist, June, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even moved us to a room closer to the lake. The inn on the property offered delicious meals without the need to drive anywhere. The rooms were luxurious, with amenities like air conditioning, a kitchenette, and a dressing room. The grounds were picturesque with a gazebo, tennis court, and walking tracks. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

A great place to unwind and explore the area. The hotel provides all the comforts I needed, including safety measures. The recreational amenities and beautiful surroundings made my stay even more enjoyable.
Oh, but who needs a well-maintained backyard or an affordable restaurant when you can have pricey ones that are only partially open? It's like a little luxury inconvenience package.

We hit up the epic lake views and had a blast exploring the beautiful gardens. The staff were super cool and helpful too. We even had some rad dining experiences that made our trip even more memorable!
The only thing that would've made our stay even better is if there were more fun activities for young party animals like us. We were craving some late-night dance parties or maybe a cool bar to hang out at.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decorations throughout the hotel! The cozy sitting areas and elegant furnishings made me feel like I was staying in a grand old country estate. It was a delight to wander around and admire the vintage paintings and antique trinkets on display. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the thoughtful accessibility features such as well-placed handrails and wide doorways that made it easy for me to navigate the hotel with my walking cane.
I do wish the children working there could provide more assistance to senior guests. It would be wonderful if they offered a dedicated concierge service to help us plan our activities and provide recommendations tailored to our needs.

We were blown away by the amazing view of the lake and fountain from our apartment at Briars Country Lodge. The super quiet place provided the perfect backdrop for a restful and relaxing stay. The split level layout of the apartment added a touch of uniqueness and value for money. We also appreciated the complimentary chocolates, a lovely gesture. The well-maintained grounds with yellow irises were a sight to behold. Despite the mild inconvenience of not having a DVD player, the Foxtel service ensured we had entertainment options. our experience was restful, relaxing, and definitely worth recommending.

The general areas were well-maintained and provided plenty of seating for seniors like myself to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. , the hotel was easily accessible with ramps and handrails, making it convenient for older guests like me to get around.
I would have loved to see more assistance from the children working there to help senior guests with carrying their luggage.
